â€Å"There’s never a dull moment when he’s around,† was the quote written under my grandpa’s senior picture in his yearbook. Benjamin Frederick Kolbe, my grandpa, was born on October 2, 1935, in the Winner hospital. If my grandpa could sum up high school, he would advise everyone to have an enjoyable time and to participate in many activities. Because my grandpa is funny and outgoing, I wanted to see what his high school experience was like. I chose my grandpa because of his satisfying humor and wonderful personality; I wanted to hear about his high school life and how different school was back then. While in high school, my grandpa lived in Dixon, South Dakota, with his parents, Leona and Ray Kolbe, and his two brothers (his two†¦show more content†¦School would always end in May and then start back up again in September. My grandpa only went to Gregory High School because the staff wanted him to play basketball in Gregory, not Dallas. In betwee n the end of November and early February, my grandpa played basketball-his favorite sport. Every week, either on a Tuesday or a Friday, he had a basketball game to attend. During his junior year he averaged nineteen points each game, and his senior year he averaged seventeen points each game. One would think that the best day of someone’s life would possibly be their wedding day or perhaps the day when their children were born but not for my grandpa. On January 1, 1955, my grandpa had the best day of his life, hands down. He was playing in a New Year’s Day tournament that was held in Lake Andes. Four teams competed; Gregory played Kimball White Lake and won. Because Fairfax beat Lake Andes, Gregory played Fairfax next; during the first half of their game, all the tall guys, six feet and taller, each had four fouls. Right after the third quarter, they all fouled out. The Gregory coach then called a timeout and told my grandpa that he was going to play center. While play ing center, he hardly missed a basket. After my research, I do believe that humans can actually harvest forest resources in an environmentally friendly way. She was also excited about becoming a Queen so she pushed Macbeth forward and did not let him back down from doing what he said hed do. Macbeth had a good chance of becoming King if Duncan was out of the picture, so Lady Macbeth helped stage a plan so that Macbeth could kill him without being caught. Lady Macbeth wanted to do this for herself as well but she was mostly doing this for Macbeth because she loved him so much. Macbeth is a regular murderer throughout the play and is involved in a lot more murders then Lady Macbeth is. She was only involved in the murder of the King while Macbeth was killing people throughout the whole story. He killed lots of men fighting for the King, and later on he killed the King. After killing the King he ordered some of his men to murder Banquo and Fleance, Fleance got away though. Later on through the story when Macduff went to join Malcolm, Macbeth had Macduffs family killed. Macbeth was a man that murdered far more people then his wife did. So he was a more guilty person then she was. Through the story Macbeth got obsessed with killing others and he wanted to kill more, while Lady Macbeth became so self conscience that she went crazy and killed herself. Throughout the course of the story it is tough to decide who is a more guilty person, but if you look at it through the eyes of todays law you will see that Macbeth is more guilty of murder. This is because he had killed a lot people before he killed the King, and when he did kill the King by himself Lady Macbeth had nothing to do with it. She only made a plan and told him to do it and that isnt as bad as actually committing the crime unless Macbeth was mentally ill. Macbeth was not considered mentally ill though because he went on to become King where he made decisions on his own and ordered even more people to be murdered, and Lady Macbeth had nothing to do with those murders at all.
